JEE Main

• Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
• Serves as a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced

• Conducted by one of the IITs on a rotational basis.
• Only candidates who qualify JEE Main are eligible to appear.
• Used for admission to IITs.

Exam Pattern

JEE Main

• Consists of two papers: Paper 1 (for B.E./B.Tech) and Paper 2 (for B.Arch/B.Planning).
• Paper 1 includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical value questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

JEE Advanced
